Subd comm eyes expropriating lot in Tumpagon

The committee on subdivision, housing development, and landed estate chaired by Councilor Edgar S. Cabanlas has requested the City Legal Office to look into the possibility of acquiring the lot occupied by some residents in Barangay Tumpagon.

The lot is home for years to 13 residents who expressed fear over their legal status in the area.

The Barangay Council of Tumpagon headed by Barangay Chair Cecilio Dagsaan requested the committee for assistance to acquire the lot.

The committee likewise requested the City Appraisal Committee to submit appraisal report and the City Engineer’s Office to conduct survey to determine the actual situation of the said area. (JBD/SP)
