The Committee on Agriculture, Fisheries & Aquatic Resources shall study, investigate and report on all matters or proposed ordinances or resolutions related to agriculture, food production and agri-business, agricultural economic research, soil survey and conservation

The Committee on Arbitration of Barangay Boundary Disputes shall act on complaints regarding disputes on boundaries among the barangays in the City as well as on all matters involving boundary disputes

The Committee on Barangay Affairs shall study, investigate and report on all matters involving the affairs of all the barangays in the city, review of the barangay budget, ordinances and resolutions and oversee the proper implementation and compliance

The Committee on Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation and Disaster Risk Reduction shall have general jurisdiction over all matters pertaining to prevention and mitigation, preparedness, response, and rehabilitation in times of disasters

The Committee on Consumer Protection shall study, investigate and report on all matters relating to safeguarding consumer rights and interests

The Committee on Cooperative, Labor & Employment shall study, investigate and report directly and principally relating to cooperative movements and organizations, financing assistance programs

The Committee on Cultural Communities shall shall study all matters directly and principally relating to cultural communities’ and Indigenous Peoples’ (IPs) welfare and development and their community areas.

The Committee on Economic Enterprises shall study, investigate and report on all matters and measures relating to the establishment, maintenance and operation of all income-generating entities of the City Government

The Committee on Education shall study, investigate and report on all matters and measures, including proposed ordinances or resolutions concerning education, the establishment, maintenance and operation of schools

The Committee on Environment shall study, investigate and report on all matters or proposed ordinances or resolutions dealing on sanitation, ecology and natural resources

The Committee on Ethics and Blue Ribbon shall study, investigate and report to the City Council (Sangguniang Panlungsod), in aid of legislation, its findings and recommendations on cases involving graft and corruption

The Committee on Finance, Budget, and Appropriations shall study investigate and report on all matters and measures, including but not limited to proposed ordinances or resolutions

The Committee on Games and Amusement shall study investigate and report on all matters relating to all forms and places of recreation, games and amusement, and all types of entertainment.

The Committee on Health, Nutrition and Health Insurance shall study, investigate and report on all matters concerning health and social health insurance, measures seeking the prevention and cure of diseases

The Committee on Laws and Rules shall prepare the rules of the body, study, device, and report better methods for the smooth conduct of the body’s proceedings.

The Committee on Planning, Research & Innovation and People’s Organization Accreditation shall study, investigate and report on all matters and measures pertaining to city planning, zoning, land classification

The Committee on Public Order & Safety shall study, investigate and report on all matters and measures, including proposed ordinances or resolutions dealing on police matters

The Committee on Public Utilities (Roads & Traffic Management and Energy) shall study, investigate and report on all matters and measures including but not limited to proposed ordinances or resolutions

The Committee on Public Works shall study, investigate and report to the body all matters concerning public works and construction, or maintenance of roads

The Committee on Senior Citizens shall study, investigate and report on all matters relating to the proper care and welfare of the senior citizens, the aged, and the disadvantaged persons

The Committee on Social Services shall study, investigate and report on all matters and measures having to do with social welfare administration and/or those pertaining to public service

The Committee on Sports and Youth Development shall study, investigate and report on all matters and measures affecting the development and training of the youths for responsible leadership

The Committee on Subdivision, Housing Development & Landed Estate shall study, investigate and report on all matters and measures pertaining to city planning, subdivision, layout of roads, streets, canals

The Committee on Tourism studies, investigates and reports on all matters involving the promotion of the arts and cultural affairs; the enhancement, promotion, and development of tourism and beautification; initiate, conducts, and promotes studies and/or research pertinent to facts and events

The Committee on Trade and Commerce shall study, investigate and report on all matters relating to trade, internal commerce and industry in general, protection of such commerce and industry

The Committee on Urban & Rural Poor shall study, investigate and report on all matters pertaining to the condition and status of the poor and underprivileged

The Committee on Ways & Means shall study investigate and report on all matters and measures, including but not limited to the levy and collection of taxes

The Committee on Women and Family Relations shall study, investigate and report on all matters relating to the protection of women and family; measures to protect working women
