CAGAYAN de Oro City College (CDOCC) will receive P114,651,250 under the City Government’s approved 2027 Annual Budget to support its operations and institutional needs.
The proposed expenditures cover personnel services, day-to-day operating costs, and the acquisition of equipment, furniture and educational resources intended to support the college’s academic programs.
Personnel services account for P70,574,324 of the total budget, while P40,811,926 is allocated for maintenance and other operating expenses. These will cover staff-related costs and the college’s routine requirements, including training, travel, office supplies, internet connectivity, utilities-related expenses, repairs and maintenance, and other essential services.
The budget also includes P3.2 million for equipment and learning facilities, including a photocopier, a motorcycle, 30 sets of office cubicles with cabinets and chairs, furniture and fixtures for the Bachelor of Science in Social Work laboratory, and reference books.
Additional items identified for procurement include textbooks and e-books, library electronic systems for four new HEIs, laboratory equipment and furniture, four 4-horsepower floor-mounted inverter air-conditioning units, a generator set, and two 60-inch smart LED televisions for the audio-visual room.
Councilor Moreno “Jing” Daba IV, chair of the education committee, said the funding is expected to help the college maintain its operations while providing the resources and facilities needed to support its educational programs. (JAO/SP)
