Cooperative, Labor & Employment

The Committee on Cooperative, Labor & Employment shall study, investigate and report directly and principally relating to cooperative movements and organizations, financing assistance programs, incentives and matters that promote cooperative development to urban and rural areas including livelihood programs.

It shall likewise study, investigate and report and on all matters involving the rights and duties of workers in their relations among themselves, their employers and with the public, and/or measures intended to uplift or maintain the dignity of labor; mediation, conciliation and arbitration of labor disputes, wages and hours of labor, women and child labor, statistics and labor standards.
