Women And Family Relations

The Committee on Women and Family Relations studies, investigates, and reports on all matters relating to the protection of women and family; measures to protect working women by providing safe and healthful working conditions, taking into account their maternal functions, and such facilities and opportunities that will enhance their welfare and potentials; measures to protect the rights of spouses and children, including assistance for proper care and nutrition, and special protection from all forms of neglect, abuse, cruelty, exploitation and other conditions prejudicial to their development; measures to protect the rights of families or family associations to participate in the planning and implementation of policies and programs that affect them.
