The proposed donation of a basketball court and several road lots by the Carmen Hillside Homeowners Association, Inc. to the City Government will be further studied by the City Council committee on subdivision, housing development, and landed estate chaired by Councilor Edgar S. Cabanlas.

The committee asked the city engineering office to conduct a detailed survey of the lots to be donated in order to assess their current conditions.

During the meeting, Ms. Nelly Mutia, president of the association, said they intend to donate these lots to the city government to enhance public spaces and promote community activities.

However, Councilor Cabanlas cited the need for evaluation to comply with city standards.

Aside from the survey, the committee also requested the City Legal Office to review the terms and conditions of the Deed of Donation, including compliance with city ordinances that may affect the transfer of the property to the city.

With this, the councilor asked the said offices to furnish the committee its recommendations at the soonest possible time. (JBD/SP)
