SP okays temporary use of city property for construction of classrooms

BOTH Camaman-an Elementary School and National High School can now temporarily use a portion of the city-owned property located in Block 3, Lot 1, NHA-CDO Bayanihan Village Phase 1, Macapaya, Barangay Camaman-an.

This, after the City Council during its regular session presided over by Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez authorized the Local School Board to temporarily utilize the property as site for the construction of temporary classrooms of the said schools.

The council members approved the measure, recognizing the urgent need for new classroom space to accommodate the growing number of students in the area.

The legislation was reviewed and endorsed by the committees on subdivision, housing development, and landed estate and on laws and rules both chaired by Councilor Edgar S. Cabanlas. (JBD/SP)
