Sacala joins muslim community in Iftar Caravan

Councilor Kenneth John Sacala, Chairman of the Sports & Youth Development Committee, attended the Iftar Caravan organized by the Muslim Youth Council at the Cagayan de Oro City Amphitheater on March 14, 2024.

Iftar, one of the religious observances during the holy month of Ramadan, symbolized a moment of unity and togetherness as participants broke their fast at sunset with dates, water, and wholesome meal. The councilor, recognizing the importance of this occasion, expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the invitation extended to him.

In his remarks, Sacala commended the dedication and commitment of the Muslim Youth Council in organizing the city’s first-ever Ramadan Iftar Caravan. For him, it is a testament of their dedication and commitment in cultivating a shared spirituality of the Muslim community.
