City Councilor Des Dahino, chairperson of the committee on women and family relations, turned over instructional materials to Bulua Central School’s Special Needs Education Program to be used in its sensory room.

In a social media post, Dahino said the materials aim to support learners’ development and contribute to a safe, engaging, and comfortable environment for the children. The initiative forms part of her continued support for programs that promote inclusive education in the city.
A psychometrician and educator by profession, Dahino has consistently underscored the importance of strengthening support systems for learners with special needs, as well as for their parents and teachers.

The councilor also joined the school community during its Christmas celebration last year and has maintained coordination with stakeholders working for the welfare of children with special needs. (SPE/SP/Photos from Councilor Des Dahino FB page)
