Kaso ni PB Padla gibasura sa konseho

HINIUSANG giuyonan sa konseho atol sa sesyon sa Lunes nga gidumala ni Bise Mayor Bebot Rodriguez ang resolusyon nga nagsagop sa order sa komite sa ethics and blue ribbon ubos ni Konsehal Edgar Cabanlas.

Kini kabahin sa BR Case No. 2024-08, nga nag-ulohan: "Edgardo S. Tejano (complainant) batok Canitoan Punong Barangay Lancelot B. Padla (respondent).

Tungod sa pagbasura sa reklamo sa mga complainant nga gisang-at atubangan sa Katarungang Pambarangay sa Canitoan, gibasura sa komite ang maong kaso tungod sa kakuwang sa merito.

Rodriguez reaffirms support for PWD rights at International Day of Sign Language celebration

Councilor Jonjon Rodriguez reaffirmed his commitment to upholding the rights and welfare of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) during the 2025 International Day of Sign Language (IDSL) and Filipino Sign Language Day celebration held on October 13, 2025, at the City Tourism Hall.

In his capacity as chairperson of the committee on social services, Rodriguez underscored the city’s continuing efforts to promote inclusivity and equality for all.

He reiterated his call for the timely release of PWD subsidies and the strengthening of programs that foster empowerment and active participation of every sector in local governance.

Mga programa, proyekto sa Barangay 28, suportado sa konseho

SUPORTADO sa konseho sa dakbayan ubos ni Bise Mayor Bebot Rodriguez ang mga programa ug proyekto sa Barangay 28.

Sa sesyon niadtong Lunes, hiniusang gisagop sa konseho ang resolusyon nga nag-uli sa ordinansa sa maong barangay nga may kalabotan sa ilang 2025 Annual Budget nga adunay gibana-banang kinitaan ug galastohon balor P4 milyones kapin  alang sa implementasyon.

Tipik sa gigahinan sa barangay sulod sa ilang 20 porsyentong development fund ang paghinlo sa mga canal ug flood control, pagrehabilitar sa ilang day care center, pagtukod og dikes ug dugang canals sa interior nga bahin paingon sa dalang Osmena, pagrehabilitar sa ilang entablado, pagsemento sa pathways sa Purok 4 ug pagrehabilitar sa mga sementadong silya sa basketball court.

Dugtong niini, migahin usab ang barangay og igong pundo alang sa mga programa sa Sangguniang Kabataan ug igong pundo alang sa Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (LDRMMRC) nga magamit panahon sa kalamidad.

Si Konsehal Marlo Tabac misuporta sa maong lakang human nakita nga nahiuyon sa balaod ug mahimo nga ipatuman sa labing dali nga panahon.
