VM Bebot Rodriguez hosts first eLEGIS Caravan in Mindanao

The eLEGIS Reference System was introduced to local legislative offices in Cagayan de Oro and Misamis Oriental through the first eLEGIS Caravan in Mindanao, hosted by Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez.

The activity was organized by the Vice Mayors’ League of the Philippines (VMLP) National Office in partnership with the Center for Local and Regional Governance (CLRG) of the University of the Philippines National College of Public Administration and Governance (UP-NCPAG), providing participants with an overview and walkthrough of the system’s features.

As VMLP Vice President for Mindanao, VM Bebot brought the caravan to Cagayan de Oro to promote digital innovation and support more accessible and efficient legislative work.

She also underscored the importance of embracing smart legislation and utilizing technology to strengthen legislative work and improve public service.

Joining VM Bebot were VMLP Misamis Oriental Provincial Chapter and Region X President Vice Mayor Sharon Ballangan of Libertad, Misamis Oriental, together with vice mayors from across the province, Sangguniang Bayan Secretaries, Cagayan de Oro City Secretary Arturo de San Miguel, and members of the of the city council secretariat.
