They have active social responsibility to the community and provided facilities such as CCTV cameras for security purposes, and the use of equipment for the construction of basketball court.

It may be recalled that the company applied for a Mineral Processing Permit (MPP) to the Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) for its proposed crushing plant, and the requirement to secure a certificate of social acceptability from the City Local Environment and Natural Resources Office (CLENRO) was already complied.

Councilor Cabanlas recommended the approval of the request adding that this will be referred to the Office of the City Mayor Rolando A. Uy.

He, likewise, requested the company to proceed to the City Planning and Development Office (CPDO) for securing the issuance of special permit.

Councilors Joey Abbu and Aga Suan, who were present during the meeting, supported the move for approval.
