SP thanks PAL for hosting Interclub Golf Team Championship in CdO

THE 20th City Council, in its regular session Monday presided by Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez, adopted a resolution expressing gratitude to the Philippine Airlines (PAL) for hosting and sponsoring the PAL Interclub Golf Team Championship held last February 19 to March 4, 2024 at Pueblo de Oro Country Club.

The tournament was in celebration of PAL’s 75th Diamond Anniversary. It is the country’s longest-running and biggest amateur golf tournament where Filipino golfers and international players gather. It was learned that the said tournament generated thousands of domestic and foreign tourists coming in to the City.

In a separate resolution, the 20th City Council congratulated the Del Monte Golf Club of Bukidnon for winning the said amateur tournament.
