SP oks 2024 budgets of 6 brgys

IN its recent session, the 20th City Council returned the CY 2024 annual budgets of six urban barangays, confirming their operational status.

Barangay 6 allocated 20% of its estimated income of P2,965,750 for road and drainage rehabilitation, street lighting, and urban greening.


Barangay 16 reserved P330,666 from its P3,061,494 estimated income for drainage system rehabilitation, curves and gutters, street lighting, and canal declogging. Barangay 19 allocated P384,837 from its P3,381,395 estimated income for multi-purpose hall rehabilitation, street lighting, and flood control.


The  20th City Council  during the 67th Regular Session

From an estimated income of P4,346,419, Barangay 23 earmarked P518,813 for flood control, canal declogging, street lighting, drainage system rehabilitation, and solid waste management. Barangay 36 allocated P426,790 for canal declogging and multi-purpose hall rehabilitation from its estimated income of P3,382,952.


Finally, Barangay 10 reserved P447,195 from its estimated income of P3,785,976 for multi-purpose hall improvement, drainage rehabilitation, street lighting, sidewalk gutter improvement, and canal declogging.


The legislations were sponsored by the Committees on Barangay and on Laws and Rules, respectively chaired by Councilors Yan Lam S. Lim and Edgar S. Cabanlas.
