SP okays DP of city’s socialized housing project in Brgy Canitoan

The 21st City Council during its regular session Monday presided over by Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez approved the Development Permit (DP) of Cagayan de Oro Resettlement and Socialized Housing Project -1, Phase 3 Extension (CDORSHP-1 P3 Extn) Talongan Village (an on-site project), located at Sitio Calaanan, Barangay Canitoan.
The project covers 19,818 square meters, which aims to provide affordable housing for families in the community.
The housing is expected to feature amenities, such as open green spaces, community centers, and essential services to enhance families’ living experience.
The legislation was endorsed by the committees on subdivision, housing development, and landed estate and on laws and rules chaired by Councilor Edgar S. Cabanlas. (JBD/SP)
