SP earmarks ₱3.5M for payments of salary, other benefits to city hall employees

SEVERAL city hall employees will soon get their salary differential and other benefits from the city government.

This, as the 20th City Council during the 126th and last regular session, presided over by Presiding Officer Pro Tempore Councilor Romeo V. Calizo, enacted separate ordinances appropriating funds for the purpose.

With the issuance of certificate of availability of funds, the said payments were favorably recommended by City Mayor Rolando A. Uy, the Local Finance Committee, and City Budget Office.

The committees on finance, budget and appropriation, and laws and rules, which were presided over by Councilors Yan Lam S. Lim and Edgar S. Cabanlas, respectively, reviewed and endorsed the legislation.
