SP approves MOU for ₱33-M Bugo, Cugman FMRs

The implementation of Farm-to-Market Road (FMR) projects in Barangays Bugo and Cugman is set to proceed following the City Council’s approval of an ordinance authorizing Mayor Klarex Uy to sign a Memorandum of Undertaking (MOU) with the Department of Public Works and Highways–Cagayan de Oro City 2nd District Engineering Office (DPWH–CDOC 2nd DEO).

The MOU, to be signed with DPWH–CDOC 2nd DEO District Engineer Jan Paulo C. Lisondra, covers the concreting of Phase II of the Bugo Farm-to-Market Road and Phase III of the Cugman FMR project.

The projects carry a total budget of ₱33 million, with ₱30 million funded by the Department of Agriculture and a ₱3 million counterpart from the city government.

These FMR projects are part of the calendar year 2025 initiatives of Second District Representative Rufus Rodriguez and subsequently validated and prioritized by the Department of Agriculture. (SPE/SP)
