SP approves MOA with Land Bank

THROUGH an ordinance, the 20th City Council, in its regular session on Monday, authorized City Mayor Rolando A. Uy to enter into and sign the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Land Bank of the Philippines covering the use of a 2-square meter area at the Westbound Terminal and Public Market in Bulua for the establishment of one (1) unit lobby type automated teller machine.

Under the agreement, the city shall provide the space to Land Bank for free for the entire term of the facility. It shall also allow the electrical installation for the ATM unit on its premises as well as the data line/ communication line to be connected to the ATM unit, and any change or billing, therefore, shall be for the account of Land Bank.


Meanwhile, Land Bank shall use the space exclusively for the ATM and not for any other purposes without the prior written consent of the city government. It shall also shoulder the cost of the installation of the ATM and the renovation of the space where the ATM will be installed.


The agreement shall be for a period of five (5) years starting from actual occupancy of the premises, renewable for another five (5), unless sooner terminated by either party.
