"THIS initiative is a gateway for our youth to harness their potential and take meaningful steps toward building secure and sustainable careers.”
Councilor Moreno Y. Daba IV, chair of the City Council committee on education, said this as he expressed strong support for youth development during the Kahigayonan: Skills Expo & Enrollment and Job Fair held from August 11 to 13, 2025, at Ayala Malls Centrio.
In his message, Councilor Daba underscored the importance of providing young Kagay-anons with accessible platforms that enhance their competencies, open pathways for employment, and prepare them for future opportunities.
The three-day activity served as a one-stop hub of opportunities and services, featuring skills demonstrations, technical-vocational training enrollment, job matching, and career guidance sessions.
It gathered various government agencies, private institutions, and training centers to equip participants with both practical knowledge and employment prospects.
Councilor Daba lauded the collaboration among stakeholders, emphasizing that initiatives like KAHIGAYONAN align with the city government’s vision of empowering the youth through education, skills development, and gainful employment. (JAO/SP)
