YOUTH programs in Barangay Tignapoloan are set to roll out soon following the approval of the 2025 Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) budget by the 20th City Council, presided over by Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez.
Its ₱975,588.00 budget will fund various initiatives aimed at empowering young individuals in the barangay.

Endorsed by the committee on sports and youth development, chaired by Councilor Kenneth Sacala, and the committee on laws and rules, chaired by Councilor Edgar Cabanlas, the budget allocates ₱243,864.00 for honoraria and ₱116,762.00 for maintenance and other operating expenses (MOOE).
The MOOE allocation will cover costs related to travel, training, office supplies, fidelity bond premiums, and SK Federation annual dues.
The bulk of the funds, amounting to ₱614,962.00, is appropriated for programs on health, education, employment and livelihood opportunities, social inclusion with a focus on gender sensitivity, governance and active citizenship through capability-building and leadership initiatives, as well as environmental protection, climate change adaptation, disaster risk reduction and response (DRRR), and agricultural projects.
