SK CDO launches first dancesport with a cause

THE Sangguniang Kabataan Federation of Cagayan de Oro City, under the leadership of Federation President and City Councilor Kenneth Sacala, held its first SK Federation Dancesport Competition with a Cause at the City Tourism Hall last June 4, this year.

The event featured solo, duo, couple’s 3 dance, and couple’s 5 dance categories and drew participation from junior, juvenile, youth, and third kind dancers, showcasing the diversity and talent of the Kagay-anon youth.

Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Home Care for Girls, a shelter managed by the City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD) that provides care and protection to abandoned and at-risk minor girls.
