Request to buy property in Cugman for housing program up for study

THE City Council Committee on Urban and Rural Poor and Housing Development, chaired by Councilor Edgar S. Cabanlas, is scheduled to take up the request for assistance of Cugman Punong Barangay Ma. Luisa M. Aldeguer for the purchase of the 5,587 square meters property owned by the heirs of Senecio Sacala situated at Zone 8, Barangay Cugman.

In a letter dated February 23, 2024, Punong Barangay Aldeguer called for the collaboration with various housing programs such as 4PH Pabahay, managed by the City Housing and Urban Development Department (CHUDD), the National Housing Authority (NHA), the Community Mortgage Program (CMP), Pag-ibig Fund, the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD), and other government financing institutions.

She stated that the intended beneficiaries include the current occupants who qualify for the PABAHAY program for onsite relocation of Informal Settlers Families (ISF) or Key Shelter Areas (KSA).
