COUNCILOR Moreno Y. Daba IV, chair of the committee on education, believes that Project HOPE, a program that provides second-chance education and skills development to the children in conflict with the law (CICL) in Balay Paglaum, is a good avenue for growth and redemption.
This was his message during the project launch, saying it is vital in helping the vulnerable youth to rebuild their lives, regain confidence, and contribute positively to society.
He added that the city government remains committed in supporting programs that nurture young people’s potential and open pathways for a productive future.
The program was organized by the Relevant Industry Skills for Employment-Technical Vocational Education and Training (RISE-TVET) in coordination with the City Education Development Office (CEDO). (JAO/SP)
