Ordinance on CDO animal dispersal program up for review

THE City Council committee on barangay affairs, chaired by Councilor Yan Lam S. Lim, will review the ordinance of Barangay Indahag acknowledging the City Government of Cagayan de Oro, through the City Agriculture Office, for the implementation of the animal dispersal program and establishing localized guidelines for the responsible distribution of animal offspring.

The program aims to promote sustainable livelihood and food security of the beneficiaries required to return one to two offspring for redistribution within the barangay under a roll-over scheme.

Barangay Indahag recognizes the importance of maximizing the benefits of the program for its constituents by ensuring that the dispersed animals and their offspring contribute to improved livelihood opportunities.
