Nacaya airs flooding concern in Agusan

THE storage facility established at Zone 4, Barangay Agusan needs to be inspected as this might have caused urban flooding in the area.

This was cited by Councilor Ian Mark Q. Nacaya, chair of the City Council committee on planning, innovation and development, in his special report during the regular session Monday presided over by Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin V. Uy.

Nacaya said this concern was raised by a resident during his recent visit to the barangay.

According to the complainant, it was the first time she was able to witness and experience flooding in their area even with the existing drainage canal.

As requested, the matter was referred by the vice mayor to the Office of the City Mayor, thru the Office of the City Administrator for appropriate action.
