Ms CdeO a platform for women to lead and inspire - Go

“THIS (Ms. CdeO) pageant is not only about beauty, but also a platform where our young Kagay-anon women are given the opportunity to inspire and lead with purpose.”

Councilor Gilda O. Go said this in her welcome address as she graced the preliminary competition of 12 young Kagay-anon women vying for this year’s highly anticipated diamond batch of  the Miss Cagayan de Oro pageant.

“Each candidate carries with her a story worth celebrating, and I am honored to be part of a movement that uplifts their voices,” added Go, chair of this year’s competition and a known advocate for youth and women empowerment.

Councilor Gigi also thanked the organizers, sponsors of the pageant, including the city residents for their continued support in promoting a cultutre that celebrates the pride, self-respect, and authenticity of a woman.

The candidates were conferred corporate awards during the event held at the SM Downtown Event Hall.
