Moreno asks for complete proposal attachments

 “…, we will approve these provided (that) all the attachments are complete.”

Thus, stressed Councilor Moreno, during the 69th Regular Session of the 20th City Council presided over by Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez, as she calls for the submission of complete attachments (supporting documents) of all proposed resolutions and ordinances.

She made the appeal for thorough documentation, citing the delayed submission of requirements for two proposed ordinances, which were handed over only during the session, leaving the council members no time to review said proposed measures.

“I do not take it lightly. As much as I would not want to abstain nor disagree, I will abstain so that for the succeeding proposals, I do hope that complete documents shall be provided for every councilor,” expressed Councilor Moreno.

Councilor Moreno was referring to the proposed ordinances, approving the respective applications of Mr. Rey Daayata to hold a derby on February 21-23, 2024 at the Canitoan-Pagatpat Cockpit Arena in Barangay Pagatpat, and of Mr. Rodrigo Go to hold a derby on February 21-22, 2024 at the Lumbia Octagon Sports Arena in Barangay Lumbia. Both ordinances were approved by the council members, with some abstaining.
