Lim retains chair of finance, budget & appropriation comm

CITY Councilor Yan Lam S. Lim was reelected chair of the City Council committee on finance, budget, and appropriation, a pivotal role that influences financial direction of the city.

Councilor Lim, who has served as chair of the said committee since 2022, expressed his commitment to maintaining transparent and responsible management of the city’s finances.

The committee on finance is responsible for studying, investigating, and report on all matters and measures, including but not limited to proposed ordinances or resolutions directing the payment of money or creating a liability against the city government.

Councilor Lim will be joined by Councilor Enrico D. Salcedo, as vice-chair of the committee, with Councilors Edgar S. Cabanlas, Desiree Ann M. Dahino, and Juancho R. Pascual, as members. (JBD/SP)
