Lim aids Lapasan fire-hit families

COUNCILOR Yan Lam S. Lim, chair of the committee on ways and means, provided rice assistance to families affected by a recent fire in Sitio Sta. Cruz 2, Barangay Lapasan, to help meet their immediate daily needs.

Lim personally facilitated the distribution of the relief operation and said even modest support could ease the difficulties faced by families as they recover from the incident.

“The fire may have taken away many things, but it can never take away the strength to begin again,” Lim said, expressing hope for all the affected families.

He thanked his staff and Barangay Lapasan Kagawad Laurence Dagoc for assisting in the distribution of the relief goods.

Lim reaffirmed his commitment to assisting constituents in times of need and responding to the concerns of the community. (JAO/SP)
