Cadastral road eyed for Barangay 6 multi-purpose building
THE 21st City Council, headed by Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez, enacted an ordinance converting a portion of an old cadastral road into patrimonial property for the proposed construction of a new multi-purpose facility for Barangay No. 6.
The legislative measure, passed during the 52nd regular session presided over by Presiding Officer Pro Tempore Councilor Roger G. Abaday, aims to maximize underutilized city-owned property to better serve the community.
With an area of 226 square meters, the proposed facility is situated along R.N. Abejuela-Burgos Street in the said barangay.
The proposed multi-purpose building would accommodate various essential services, including a community health station, designated space for local government operations, and an area for public assemblies and disaster response activities.
The ordinance was reviewed and endorsed by the committees on subdivision, housing development, and landed estate, and on laws and rules both chaired by Councilor Edgar S. Cabanlas. (JBD/SP)
