In support of the city government’s investment in education, City Councilor Al Legaspi Sr. attended the turnover of the newly completed covered court at Baikingon Elementary School on May 7.
Legaspi welcomed the completion of the ₱10.3-million project funded by the city government under the administration of Mayor Klarex Uy, describing it as a meaningful addition to both the school and the barangay.
The newly constructed covered court features a stage, bleachers, ramps and railings, and comfort rooms, providing more functional venue for school programs, sports activities, and community gatherings.
Councilor Legaspi, chair of the public works committee, said the city government continues to look into additional development initiatives that would further benefit Barangay Baikingon and its residents.
Present during the activity were Mayor Klarex Uy, Councilors Antuy Pascual and Jing Daba, Baikingon Punong Barangay Jao Gumapac, School Principal Elsa Tahud, and several department heads and personnel from City Hall. (SPE/SP)
