Land acquisition payments to lot owners in Brgy 35 Ok’d

The long-delayed road opening of Limketkai Road, from Justo Ramonal St. to JR Borja Extension to ease traffic in Cogon Market will soon be realized.

This, after the 20th City Council, during its regular session Monday, presided over by City Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez, enacted separate ordinances, appropriating funds for the full payment of the claim for just compensation of several lot owners whose properties located in Barangay 35 will be affected by the project.

The separate ordinances were sponsored by the committees on subdivision and landed estate, finance, budget and appropriation chaired by Councilors Edgar S. Cabanlas and Yan Lam S. Lim, respectively. (JBDacer/SP)
