Just compensation payment to lot owner OKd

CITY government of Cagayan de Oro has reaffirmed its commitment to just compensation for property owner affected by the ongoing road development project.

This, after the 21^st City Council during its regular session presided over by Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez, enacted an ordinance appropriating the amount for the purpose, whose property has been affected by the construction activities from Sitio Leropan to Tubalon in Barangay Pagalungan.

Furthermore, the legislative body authorized City Mayor Rolando A. Uy to sign the deed of absolute sale for the property involved.

The ordinance was sponsored by the committees on subdivision, housing development and landed estate and on laws and rules chaired by Councilor Edgar S. Cabanlas. (JBD/SP)
