Goking supports PCG Open House
CITY Councilor George S. Goking, chair of the City Council committee on trade and commerce and on ways and means, visited the Philippine Coast Guard Open Haus at Macabalan yesterday. The event showcased its new state of the art vessel, weapons and equipment.
Goking said a better relationship with the Armed Forces is needed to maintained peace and order and attain economic recovery.
People are still suffering due to the pandemic, we need to work together, he added.
The councilor stressed that coordination is necessary, especially during times of natural calamities. Alertness and preparedness are also important, he pointed out.
We need to have unity and collaboration with other government agencies to give better services to the people, he said.
