Councilor Gilda O. Go, chair of the committee on senior citizens, expressed support for the implementation of a Queuing Numbering System to provide efficient and convenient experience for the elderly sector of the city.

The Office for Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA) is rolling out this initiative as part of its efforts to improve public service delivery for senior citizens.

Councilor Go thanked the City Management Information System and Innovation Department (CMISID) for developing and installing the new system and commended the team for their dedication and commitment to innovation, describing the project as a “game-changer” in streamlining public services.

The new Queuing Numbering System is expected to streamline OSCA’s frontline services by organizing transactions more efficiently, thereby reducing waiting times and ensuring a more comfortable experience for senior citizens.

Upon arrival, clients will simply take a queuing number, wait for their turn to be called, and then receive assistance from the friendly and accommodating OSCA staff. (JAOc/SP/Photos from Councilor Go’s FB page)
