Gaane urges public caution against haze, health advisory issued

With air quality signs reaching concerning levels due to haze, Councilor Paolo Nicolo Gaane, chair of the City Council committee on health, urged residents to take precautions to protect their health.

Through a public advisory, Gaane said that vulnerability to poor air quality varies, but caution is necessary for all, particularly the elderly, children, and those with pre-existing respiratory or cardiovascular condition.
