Gaane graces World Environmental Health Day celebration

City Councilor Paolo Nicolo Gaane, chair of the City Council committee on health, graced the celebration of World Environmental Health Day, highlighting the vital role of environmental health in protecting the well-being of the community.

During the event, the councilor emphasized that a clean, safe, and healthy environment is essential to maintaining good health and preventing diseases.

He also said that addressing environmental concerns, including proper waste management, sanitation, clean water, and maintaining clean surroundings is a collective responsibility.

The councilor also encouraged the residents, particularly the students, to strengthen their commitment to environmental protection, noting that environmental health is closely connected to the quality of life of every individual and the community as a whole.
