Gaane donates medicines, other medical supplies to JRBGH

COUNCILOR Paolo Nicolo Gaane, chair of the City Council committee on health, nutrition, and health insurance, has donated medicines and other medical supplies to J.R. Borja General Hospital (JRGBH) recently.

The councilor, together with his staff, personally turned over boxes of medicines such as Phenylephrine HCl, Cefixime (OFEX), Aluminum Hydroxide + Magnesium Hydroxide (Zilgan), Hydralazine (Sapharieu), Carbocisteine, and Adenosine (Tachyban).

Donated medical supplies included IV Cannula (Hexacath/Heplock), sterile gauze pads (Sangopix), absorbent cotton roll, suction connecting tube, adult infusion set (Lufusion), surgical gloves, and IV catheter 18G x 1½” (Cathelin).

The JRBGH administration expressed their gratitude to Councilor Gaane for his generosity. The donation of medicines and medical supplies reflects his continued commitment to health and safety.

Councilor Gaane has been doing this initiative even before he became a public official, as part of his personal advocacy to help meet the growing healthcare needs of the community.  (JBD/SP/Photos from Councilor Gaane)
