Emano underscores minority’s role, encourages seizing opportunities

Councilor Yevonna Yacine B. Emano attended the weekly flag raising ceremony of Barangay Macasandig together with barangay officials and workers, where she emphasized the role of the minority in the City Council.

She said that the minority does not exist merely to oppose, it serves as the voice of the people whose concerns are often left unheard.

She encouraged residents not to hesitate in bringing issues to her attention, assuring them that she will raise these matters in the City Council for appropriate action.

The councilor also highlighted the importance of recognizing and seizing daily opportunities. She emphasized that growth and success stem from how individuals perceive, approach, and accept challenges as part of life.

“Every day, we are given the potential and opportunities to grow, to learn, and to do better. These opportunities will only become meaningful if we act on them.
