Donated Carmen lot eyed for public use

The 21st City Council has authorized City Mayor Rolando A. Uy to sign the deed of donation executed by private landowner Nelda Torayno for a parcel of land in Barangay Carmen, currently being utilized as a public road lot and a basketball court by the community.

Members of the City Council expressed gratitude to the landowner for her contribution, recognizing its potential benefits to the community.

The donated property is expected to improve road accessibility while supporting recreational and community activities. 

The ordinance was reviewed and endorsed by the committees on subdivision, housing development, and landed estate, and on laws and rules both chaired by Councilor Edgar S. Cabanlas. (JBD/SP)
