Dahino brings AbrakaDES initiative to barangays

CITY Councilor Des Dahino continues to bring joy to children in the city through her “AbrakaDES” activity, a program combining a magic show and a feeding initiative designed to create enjoyable and wholesome experiences for young audiences and the young at heart.

Most recently, Councilor Dahino and her team visited Barangay Pigsag-an as part of the community’s Araw ng Pigsag-an celebration.

Prior to this, the AbrakaDES team also visited Barangay Pagalungan, Barangay Tumpagon during its Araw ng Tumpagon celebration, and Barangay Bayabas in line with the city’s Children’s Month observance last November.

As chairperson of the City Council’s committee on women and family relations, Councilor Dahino emphasized that the program is part of her commitment to promoting the welfare of children and creating meaningful experiences that foster positive experience and community involvement.

She also extended her gratitude to the barangay councils led by Punong Barangay Sonny Rondahan for their cooperation and continued support in bringing the activity to their respective barangays. (SPE/SP)
