Dads accredit RBMC 29 for LSB membership

The 20th City Council accredited the Reformed Batang Mindanao in Christ 29 (RBMC 29) and Sub-Urban Inc., on its regular session Monday presided over by Vice Mayor Jocelyn B. Rodriguez. The accreditation is for purposes of its membership in the local special bodies pursuant to DILG Circular No. 2022-083 and Article 64 Rule XIII of the Rules and Regulations Implementing the 1991 Local Government Code or funding its project from the City or other sources as required under the COA circular pertinent thereto.

Its main objective is to build a fraternal family whose primary concern is the welfare of its members renewed by God. It also seeks to train its members for future leadership and develop their skills and potentials and tap and consolidate the organized strength of the group towards enhancing their capacity to work for their rights and welfare.

It shall likewise aim to undertake a resource generation campaign that can provide support to the group, as well as create, promote, support various programs, projects, and mechanisms that will uplift the condition of its members, especially those belonging to the marginalized group of the community.

The legislation was reviewed and endorsed by the committees on planning, research and innovation and people’s organization accreditation and on laws and rules chaired respectively by Councilors Ian Mark Q. Nacaya and Edgar S. Cabanlas.
