Daba lauds inaugural Gawad Agipo awardees

Councilor Moreno Y. Daba IV, chair of the City Council’s committee on education, extended his warmest congratulations to the awardees of the inaugural Gawad Agipo of the City College of Cagayan de Oro (CCCdO) held at the City Tourism Hall on June 10, 2026.


Expressing his full support for the initiative, Daba commended the City College of Cagayan de Oro for establishing a recognition program that highlights the dedication, achievements, and meaningful contributions of individuals and groups who embody excellence, leadership, and commitment to community service.

He emphasized that honoring these exemplary students, organizations, volunteers, and projects serves as an inspiration to the CCCdO community to continue pursuing initiatives that create lasting, positive change.


“The success of Gawad Agipo reflects the spirit of excellence, innovation, and service that the City College seeks to cultivate among its students and stakeholders,” Daba said, underscoring the importance of recognizing those who go beyond academic pursuits and actively contribute to nation-building and community development.
