Daba delivers Mayor Uy’s support message at DepEd CDO Convergence Awards

Representing City Mayor Rolando A. Uy, Councilor Moreno Y. Daba IV, chair of the committee on education, attended the Department of Education (DepEd) Division of Cagayan de Oro City Stakeholders’ Convergence Awarding Ceremony held on November 26, 2025.
In his message, Daba emphasized the vital role of strong partnerships between the local government, schools, and community stakeholders in advancing quality education.
He conveyed Mayor Uy’s message of gratitude to educational partners, teachers, school heads, parents, and private institutions whose collective efforts continue to uplift learning standards and promote student welfare in the city.
He highlighted that education remains a top priority of the city government, underscoring the administration’s commitment to supporting programs that promote inclusive, accessible, and future-ready education.
The councilor noted that the stakeholders’ convergence reflects a shared vision of building resilient learners and empowered educators through collaboration and sustained support.
