Councilor Antuy Roa Pascual is all praises in the historic launching of the RISE AI Laboratory (RAIL) in Dansolihon National High School, the first public school in the country to ever have an AI (artificial intelligence) laboratory.
For Pascual, bringing such world-class innovation in Barangay Dansolihon will empower the youth, especially those in the hinterland barangays.
The said facility is equipped with 51 computers and a LED television that would support learning areas in coding, data annotation, digital transformation, and drone technology.
RAIL is a project of the local government unit of Cagayan de Oro, under the leader of Mayor Rolando “Klarex” Uy, through the efforts of the Local School Board headed by Executive Director Dr. Alicia Anghay.
It is was also made possible through the collaboration of the Department of Education (DepEd), Department of Science and Technology, Department of Trade and Industry, Technical Education and Skills development Authority, and the industry partner Skunk Works.
Joining Councilor Pascual in the said event were Councilors Jing Daba, Al Legaspi Sr., Roberto Cabaring, and George Christopher Goking.
Also in attendance were the Barangay Dansolihon officials, city hall heads and managers, Nahilaran indigenous peoples, and DepEd executives. (FDC/SP/Photos from Councilor Pascual's FB page)
