Councilor Jonjon Rodriguez named co-chair of Inter-Agency Committee on 4Ps

THE City Inter-Agency Committee (CIAC) on the Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) officially welcomed Councilor Jonjon Rodriguez as its new co-chairperson during a regular committee meeting held at Cronin Hall, Cathedral Compound.

Rodriguez assumes the post in his capacity as chairman of the 21st City Council’s Committee on Social Services.

He expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to serve as co-chair and reaffirmed his commitment to advancing inclusive social development.

Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) City Director Ellaine Josephine B. Depaur was also in attendance, along with key representatives from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Region 10 and various sub-committees.

Among the key agenda items discussed during the meeting were the team report presented by the DSWD-10 City Action Team, updates on sub-committee activities, and the proposed Comprehensive Social Protection Ordinance.

The CIAC plays a crucial role in implementing and monitoring the 4Ps at the local level, ensuring alignment between national directives and community-based actions. (JDO/SP)
