Councilor Go joins ASSC 15th anniversary celebration

CITY Councilor Gilda O. Go, who heads the City Council committee on senior citizens, took part in the 15th founding anniversary festivities of the Association of Scions Senior Citizens (ASSC) held on August 9, 2025, at the Scions Covered Court.

With the theme “Panaghiusa ug Kalamboan alang sa Tanang Senior Citizens” (Unity and Progress for All Senior Citizens), the celebration honored the lasting contributions of elders to community development and their role in strengthening social unity.

In her address, Councilor Go commended ASSC for its long-standing commitment to the welfare and empowerment of senior citizens.

She also reaffirmed the city government’s dedication to delivering programs aimed at enhancing the quality of life for the elderly, recognizing their knowledge, life experience, and meaningful involvement in public affairs.

The program featured performances and activities that reflected the talents, camaraderie, and resilience of ASSC members.
