Councilor Dahino backs BPAT training for safer brgys

In a move aimed at "turning awareness into action," City Councilor Des Dahino participated in the one-day Barangay Peacekeeping Action Team (BPAT) Training, organized by the Cagayan de Oro City Police Office Station 4 in collaboration with barangay councils and community stakeholders on September 13 at the Barangay Bonbon Gymnasium.
With the theme “Empowering Frontline Responders for Safer Communities,” the training introduced basic arnis techniques aimed at enhancing their ability to respond effectively to security challenges within their communities.
As the chairperson of the committee on women and family relations, Councilor Dahino stressed the importance of continued collaboration among the barangays, the police, and the broader community in fostering a safer and more secure environment for the residents of the city specially for the children.
