A LOT owner from Barangay Tablon, whose property was affected by the proposed 10-meter-wide road widening project, will soon receive payment from the city government.
This, as the 21st City Council, during the regular session presided over by City Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez, enacted an ordinance, appropriating funds for the full payment of the claim for just compensation for the improvements of the lot affected by the said project from the national highway towards Tablon Hospital.

The appropriation was endorsed by the City Legal Office, City Appraisal Committee, and Local Finance Committee.
With this, the legislative body authorized Mayor Rolando A. Uy to sign the deed of absolute sale.
The ordinance was sponsored by the committees on finance, budget and appropriation; on subdivision, housing development, and landed estate; and on laws and rules chaired by Councilors Yan Lam S. Lim and Edgar S. Cabanlas, respectively. (JBDSP)
