THE city government of Cagayan de Oro will soon initiate subdividing its properties in Barangays Agusan, Pigsag-an, Tuburan, Mambuaya, and Taglimao.

This follows after the 21st City Council, during its regular session, presided over by City Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez, authorized City Mayor Rolando A. Uy to apply for a Survey Order with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR-10) and to sign the subdivision plan of the said lots.
The legislative body likewise authorized Mayor Uy to apply for special patents that will grant the city ownership rights.
Councilor Edgar S. Cabanlas, chair of the committees on subdivision, housing development, & landed estate, and on laws and rules, endorsed the application, noting that land titles will help eliminate related issues and improve barangay developments. (JBD/SP)
